PHOXCHEM® Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue M242 is a medium-strength anaerobic adhesive designed to lock and seal threaded fasteners while still allowing future disassembly. It helps prevent loosening caused by shock, vibration, and thermal expansion, making it ideal for general-purpose applications such as mechanical parts, body assemblies, and tools.
This threadlocker is perfect for fasteners up to ¾” (20mm) in diameter. Unlike high-strength formulas, M242 allows bolts and nuts to be removed later with standard hand tools—offering the right balance between holding power and serviceability. It’s a smart choice for assemblies that may need adjustment, maintenance, or disassembly in the future.
In typical working environments, the adhesive performs well under moderate vibration, temperature, and chemical exposure. It cures anaerobically between metal surfaces, forming a durable seal that protects threads from corrosion, oil, and leakage.

Application Guide:
1. Clean: Make sure all surfaces are dry and free from oil or dirt.
2. Shake: Shake the bottle well before use.
3. Apply: Add a few drops to the bolt at the engagement area.
4. Assemble: Tighten as needed, and avoid metal contact with the nozzle.
5. Cure: Let it cure fully before applying any load.
Caution:
Avoid skin and eye contact. Don’t breathe in vapors. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with water and get medical help. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Store in a cool, dry place. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
